Blue eyes are an inherited trait that you can receive from your parents, grandparents, etc. But blue is recessive and needs two genes to make your eyes blue. For instance, your father could have green eyes and carry the gene for blue eyes. Same with your mother. Then it is all up to luck!

Everyone has 2 eye colour genes, Brown is dominent so what ever colour this is with you will get brown, green is less dominent than brown but more than blue, and blue is the least dominent
If you genes are
Brown and Brown - you'll have brown eyes
Brown and Green - you'll have brown eyes
Brown and Blue - you'll have brown eyes
Green and Green - you'll have green eyes
Green and Blue - you'll have green eyes
Green and Brown - you'll have green eyes
Blue and Blue - you'll have blue eyes
Blue and Green - you'll have green eyes
Blue adn Brown - you'll have brown eyes
lol this sould mean most people have brown eyes, this isnt the case however bcasue some brown isnt such a common colour, lol although it is becoming more common
Sorry if this has already been posted, but i didnt want to read through them all :D

First off it would help if you were born with blue eyes like myself then of course you would not need to do a thing. Then there are the blue contact lenses you know the ones Paris Hilton couldn't wear in jail. Why do you want blue eyes anyway if someone really loves you it will be because of you not the colour of your eyes. Be yourself and those who love will follow. Those who do not follow are not even worth the time and effort.

Yeah I think so but it can work to if only one of your parents got blue eyes but less of a chance.
If you want blue eyes get some colored contacts.

no, as long as it is in one of your parent's genes, there is a chance that you can have blue eyes, it depends on which gene is stronger.if both of your parents have blue eyes the probability is stronger that you will get blue eyes
you could also get color contacts if you really wanted blue eyes. but it usually looks really fake.

No- sometimes an offspring inherits blue eyes from one parent when the other has the more dominant brown eyed gene. But if you do want blue eyes and don't have them, you can get colored contacts. If you have good vision and don't need contacts, there are colored contact lenses that do not effect your vision but they do color your eyes.

yes, you get blue eyes if both of your parents have blue eyes.
but, it's pretty much all about the most dominant gene. let's say your mom has brown and your dad has blue....the most dominant[common, stronger] gene is brown. so as a result, you'll end up with brown eyes.

Nope.
Both of my kids have blue eyes. I have blue eyes, my husband has hazel. Blue is the predominant color, so it only takes one parent with blue eyes to pass it along.
