I have been wanting to purchase an Outlook for several months now, but had to wait to get my husbands truck paif off first. Now that I am ready they are not offering ANY incentives except 1000 cash. I wish they would do a 0% like all the other compainies are! Do they usually tend to follow?

$1000 rebate is actually pretty good for a Saturn, especially on a brand new model. Even if GM were to start offering 0% loans they would likely be in lieu of the rebate (i.e. you could either get the rebate or the special loan, not both).

The only company currently offering 0% AND a rebate is Ford, but this is only for their older trucks and SUVs (does not include the Edge), and the 0% is only good for loans of 3 years or less.

The Saturn Aura has been out longer than the Outlook, has been a tremendous sales disappointment, and still has "only" a $1500 rebate. I'd estimate at least another six months before you see any additional rebates on the Outlook.

You might be able to get a cheaper deal on the GMC Acadia (basically the same car), since GMC will negotiate off the MSRP whereas Saturn won't. However, doesn't look like the Acadia currently has any rebates.

Well right now they don't have to because the Outlook is selling very well. Wait a while till the end of the year and I can gurantee that they will be offering incentives.

Outlook is the hottest product in their line right now. I don't believe they are going to put any more incentives for a while. and the 0 % is offered by GMAC not by Saturn.

As long as it sells well, they will not...

Why would they give you an incentive to buy something, that they cant keep in stock now???

I am afraid you have a long wait ahead of you.
