I call my daughter Sweet pea. I gave her that nickname when she was first born and low and behold almost 4 yrs later she is not really that sweet. To me she can be sweet, but she's actually a bully at daycare, etc... I was wondering if anyone else has nicknames that do or don't fit their child?

well, my son's nickname is kinda long: darlin' cakers, precious keeper, booger buttaroni.
yeah, we are a bit weird in my family. my mother calls him darlin' cakers, i call him precious keeper and booger buttaroni - so he decided they should all be put together and now that's his nickname. Because it's so ridiculously long, we usually use his real name. But yes, it fits him. He is a darling and precious, but can be a booger butt at times.

I used to call my youngest one "piglet" because she was very chubby when she was born! (It's kind of funny, because for some reason her jr high school band director started calling her that, and she was a bean pole by then! He didn't know that's what we called her when she was a baby either.) Then it was "sweet pea" when she was very little, and that lasted until she started kindergarten - then SHE decided she was too old for it! ;-) She has a little girl now who will be three in September; I call her "Pooh Bear" sometimes because she was a little chubby when she was born and she's very cuddly, and of course, I call her "sweetheart" sometimes because she does have a very sweet heart - but lately she's started saying "no...I'm Chloe!" (But then if I call her by her name, she says "You're Nana, I'M sweetheart!") ;-)

We call all of our girls (two daughters & one granddaughter) "Princess", even if they don't act like it.....but they know I'm the Queen! LOL!

We call our son Baboo - my sweet Baboo - which is what Sally Brown (Charlie Brown's sister) used to call Linus. He is sweet! Somestimes we call him crack baby (but only at home), because he's wild at age 7 - which definitely fits like last night when he drank a can of mountain dew - all that darn caffiene sent him way over the edge

We called my son "fat boy" when he was a baby because he was fairly chubby. Now, at 2.5 years old, he's skinny and tall. He has yet to hit 30lbs! He still wears a size 3 diaper. He's not malnourised or anything, he actually eats like a pig, he's just active and has a fast metabolism. We also give him gatorade to drink instead of regular juices. He's really muscular too.

We don't call him fat boy as much anymore. Along the lines he began to love chocolate chip cookies and we called him "Cookie Monster", which I changed to "Tookie Monster" and is now just "Tookie". I think we're gonna stick with that one!

I call my daughter Peanut because when she was first born, and we kept her swaddled, she looked like a peanut. She still gets into a peanut shape when she sleeps next to us, so yep, it fits. (I'm glad to hear that our daughter is not the only aggressive little girl out there! I don't know if ours counts as a bully, but she definitely holds her own...)

My youngest is weinie (her name is lena, it just came from calling her "wena" like her older sister does).

My oldest is princess, and YES it fits her. She is such a girly-girl that sometimes is drives me crazy (I'm a tomboy and have a hard time identifying :D )

their father calls the youngest Chicken leg and the oldest chicken wing.

I called my son "little man"...and still do. When he was a little guy..he looked and acted (sometimes) like a miniature me..He even tried to dress like me...It was pretty cute.. He's 18 now.. definitely his own person now...But still looks a lot like me..has my attitude..humor. We even like a lot of the same music(I was a young dad)...
