It could be too hot, too strenuous of a walk, you didn't eat enough breakfast or lunch, or possibly you have an iron deficiency.
5 minutes is better than nothing.

I have done the same thing MANY times.
It is simply that the higher up you, the less
oxygen there is. Therefore, making it harder
to breath. Coming down is the exact same way.
Just drink water, maybe do some breathing exercises,
but stay away from doing anything strenous until
you feel better.
On the footnote: if you are not very active, it is best
to start out small. A five minute walk is perfect.
Or if you don't like walking, go for a small bike ride,
or go lift weights. As you get stronger, and build more
muscle, you will be able to do things longer.
Remember, start out slow and work your way up.

Make sure that you are hydrated before you start all that. Start out slow, don't obsess about burning your fat until you know you're comfortable doing a workout. Don't let it hurt you because you feel you must burn fat. Drink a lot of water and don't forget to breathe! Don't lay on the ground or anything, keep your head elevated and keep your arms up, maybe you had a history of asthma when you were younger? Be careful!

there are various reasons why any individual feel a little dizzy during excersise, one can be due to weight with the body, or when the last time you went for a long walk, or can be the hill, some hill can be long and enduring, and because its elevated, your muscles are working extra hard, try walk around in a park, when its mostly flat, with some music you'd be surprise how long you were out there. try walk to the store, walk downtown with a audio book. if walking your thing, remember to bring water so you wont dehydrate or pass out, or get dizzy, also make sure its on a cool day, tempature can also affect you as well.

You could have exercise induced asthma. I would see your doctor to be sure.
It could also be that you're extremely out of shape and the hills was too much for you. Try a walk without hills and gradually increase the distance and amount of hills you walk.
If you want to lose fat you can also try toning techniques such as pilates, yoga, or free weights (start with 3 pounds if you don't have much built up strength). Get a fitness magazine to give you ideas on how to use the weights and i would suggest a dvd on pilates (i use the CRUNCH series on pilates its amazing).

it sounds like you might be a little over weight. Because of the breathing. So what you need to do is cut out the hills at least for now. And find a nice scenic flat two mile route that ayou can do and maybe with a friend that can join you..And make sure you do stretching before and after.And take some water with you to stay hydrated.

Try to pace yourself. Don't walk really fast for the first 10 min. and then slow down for the last 5, or vice versa. Keep a steady pace. Remember to drink water and take deep breaths that fill your lungs. And yes, you could start out with 5 min. walks. If your body is not used to exercise you NEED to start out slow.

Were sensible shoes! If you need to start with 5 minute walks, then start with 5 minute walks. Every little movement helps. If you need to walk 5 minutes 3 times a day - then do it! Start slow and increase slowly. If you try too much too fast you will be more likely to give up. Literally one step at a time.

Starting at 5 minutes and working you way up will be good. The 5 minutes won't do anything right away, but it will build up your stamina for future longer walks

Good start, try and find your aerobic exercise range, and stick with that for 12-20 minutes. Its based on heart rate. Don't exceed that or you might do yourself more harm than good.
