I'm fourteen (yeah I know everyone is going to say that it is too young to be worrying about weight, but I was just wondering). I'm 5'4" and 110lbs. Everyone in my family and friends are really really skinny so it feels really awkward when we borrow eachothers clothes. What do you think?

Your healthy weight range is 92 - 136.

You are currently at the 44th percentile... which means you have an average weight compared to other kids your age and height.

As long as you are eating healthy and staying active... then you have nothing to worry about.

The worse thing you can do right now is compare yourself to your friends/siblings. I was always healthy as a child, but never got to enjoy it because I was always comparing myself to my sister, whom I know NOW was underweight - so I always THOUGHT I was fat. Now I AM fat, so I regret not living my healthy/thin days to their fullest.

Also, just your skeletal structure (frame) can make you where a different clothing size. Or if you have more muscle... which means you are actually healthier than your smaller counterpart who has less muscle.

Use this website to determine healthy weight ranges for certain height and ages of kids, including yourself:

I have to agree with Victoria L (first person to answer). But if you are really worried, go to this website:

It should be a good indicator of what your ideal weight should be. BUT, again, you shouldn't worry too much until you are older because even though weight management is important at ANY age, right now, at 5'4" and 110 pounds you really don't have anything to worry about. =)

There's nothing wrong with a teenager being concerned about their weight so long as you don't go overboard an develop and eating disorder. You weight and height sound fairly normal. If you want to know for sure, you should ask your family doctor.

You're not overweight at all. You're normal. Stop worrying about it; at this point you're probably still growing. When you reach your full height you can worry about weight.

Actually I would think you're underweight. Either that, or you're at the lowest end of the healthy weight scale for your height.
