If it was heard in traffic court then it is a public record. See your Clerk of the County Court for assistance.

If you were injured by this person you should be able to take action in civil court. Because of privacy laws you can not get the info you ask about. It could be that the charge was deferred. When that takes place the the charge is on hold for some time set by the D.A.
Like if you keep out of trouble for, say 1 year the charge is taken off your record.
Any way that's the way it works in Colorado.

You must know the case number. Go The clerk of the court , ask for transcripts of the proceedings. It is public record what happenned in court. When a charge is dismissed it is because the state has failed to prove it's case. Some will say "technicalities" will get them off, not so. We live by laws, not "technicalities". You may not agree with all of the laws, but they are the law just the same. Or, you may want to live under some other system of laws, say, sharia, for example? Keep those ankles covered, babe, you just may lose your head if you don't!!

If it was prosecuted as a misdemeanor charge and the defendant waived a court recorder, then the proceedings are not on record, just the Docket Information and Disposition. If you know the person that had the DUI ask him, if you were an injured party, you can pursue civil action; that's about all the choices you have.

You can actually pay a background search company to get court records. But you need a valid reason to do this and it costs about $100.00 to do this.
Employers do this when doing a background check for potential employees.
Usually there is an add for these types of companies on the Department of Motor Vehicles Website in your State.
I found the info I needed for similar stuff on the California DMV website.
Good Luck.

how did they pass away the scene? all the witnesses left? you probably did not write down the license data previously you enable them to take the try tension? you confirmed up for the try tension after having some? sounds a sprint fishy to me-lol. anyhow, you will desire to get in touch with some attorneys in the journey that your tale is real. i don't think of you will get a stable answer from this communicate board. i hate to sound like a jerk, yet from a criminal attitude you look to have a susceptible case.

Your state probably has some privacy laws that protect the privacy rights of accused people, especially those not found guilty. So, you need some overriding need to know beyond curiosity. The DMV and police are probably not at liberty to give you that information.
Ask the DMV why you cannot get that information and react accordingly.

First, find out if he's a member of the Bush family. After that, you're on your own.
