Never. When we come to internet and particularly in Q & A forum,it shows that we are a kind of people who love to recieve information and knowledge.I strongly believe that only those people who do not have argumentative skills do these type of things.Either to release their frustration or to get attention. No one should be allowed to use vulgar or indecent language. Those kind of people should contributes to pornsite to get acknowledged,........................Joking.

"Morally acceptable" is a very broad brush stroke. According to who's morals? Don't get me wrong, I agree there should be limits, the problem is who's limits? What you find immoral and unacceptable I might not. The best thign to do is exactly what you did, stop supporting the action in any way.
Sadly, the bar is constantly lowered. It seems the more "enlightened" people become, the more permissive they become.
Slowly people are ignoring all personal responsibility for anything and then anything goes.

The Dictionary is full with more than 100.000 words, why so many people choose the nasty ones to express their thoughts? being so charming and enriching to run a conversation or listen any expression full of grace and exquisite words?
Regarding your question, of course is morally acceptable, because those are the current social rules, this doesn't means is correct but I agree with you, I refuse to cross words with ordinary and vulgar persons. Education is the key which open our minds and spirits to higher levels in the society.

No, I don't find it acceptable and if it's worse than Yahoo you definitely did the right thing by discontinuing your membership. This forum is really bad sometimes, in my opinion.

I think it is important to keep a respectful tone in questions and answers. That being said, if you put a question out into the world, there will be nasty types that see it as their opportunity to unload a gallon of venom that they have stored up. And there is really no downside risk for them. That is the chance that you take.
I do agree that Yahoo tries to limit this type of trash. That makes it easier to ask and answer.

Really I think to each their own. Just as some of these things people think are morally acceptable in their own homes are not in others. Some people have different morals, so to them it may be okay. OR they may just want a big community and allow anything.

Freedom does not mean display of ones vulgarism. I would call them PERVERT. Since they cant do it at home, they have started doing it electronically , where under a pseudo, they can get away........Not accepted morally...

I don't think so. People should be respectful and helpful. That's the whole point of people trying to answer questions. People helping people.
