Because through history, humans have worshipped thousands of god, demigods and demons. Each one as valid as the next (at least to the believer). So if you claim yours is real (and that is all it is after all, a claim, there is no proof or even evidence to support this being exists) then everyone else's is too.
Right?
(just wait, I'll bet someone tries the old "but none of those other gods had a book written about him" nonsense. Shake your heads folks, There are many, far older, books of mythology that don't even mention a deity like yours.)

So what you're saying is that anyone who says they have a "personal relationship with allah" is lying but you're telling the truth?

First of all, to all those here who answered with "we only need faith to know our god is real, and those who refuse to believe in the reality of god are the sad ones with eyes shut to the real world" - facts speak for themselves, facts don't need faith to tell us they're real. God does.

Now, to answer the question; most deities, demi-gods, demons, and gods... aren't real. No matter which way you look at it, they don't exist. *But* some myths are based on actual characters, so by definition some deities might have existed - albeit not in their godlike status - but it is impossible for us to figure out which ones they are. So by all means, believers, do continue worshipping your man-made gods :)

AWESOME QUESTION! How true this is! I always say the same thing that the Bible is one of the best fiction works ever there is zero to base it on and no facts that support anything in it! If I want ti can write a book about a flower that is a god and in a 1000 years maybe this will be the new almighty! People are easily led and to a point it is a good thing so that they think there is something to strive for and that is faith and it works for some but not for others! I just can't stand any organized religion in general because it is responsible for millions of innocent deaths through out history and to this day! Just look at the middle east! Jihad is just that a war because of religious beliefs! As I state to the easily led PROOF IT! Saying that just look at us doesn't mean a thing because I will just always say well you believe god was always here then OK maybe we have been to it's all stupid and no facts to back it up! Just remember as you stated that there are people who believe in more then one god and who is to say they are wrong! I feel sorry for people who are to wrapped up in this because they will end up being let down! I do believe that there is a power in the universe but that power is the universe not something made up that people think is a man that is all powerful! LOL That is just insanity!

You ask a good question.

I took a class on other religions and the way i justify my belief in God and that he is the one true God is because out of all the religions the God of christianity is the only God who sacrificed himself for mankind. He sent his son to die on the cross as a living sacrifice to pay for our sins so that we could go to heaven. Look at the facts no other idol god, whatever people worship, has done that. To me that shows love from a God...where as i have never seen an idol or say Allah show love back. Your right alot of the religions are the same, but God is the only god that has given us things in return and sacrificed himself for us.

OK, I'm a Christian, but I will try to say this as non-bias as possible.

The Christian beliefs on God is not really about which God is right or What is the right name of God. It's about believing that there is only one God who creates and runs everything.

Therefore, the only thing that Christians should believe is that if there is a religion that has several gods who do different things, then those gods should be false gods (or made up ones).

However, for the religions that only believe in one God who creates and runs everything, that God that they believe is the real one regardless that they are Jewish or Muslim.

So, yes, the Muslim has the same God as the Christian. The different of them is really the ways to get to heaven.

So, if you find in the history that those ancient religions actually believe that there are only one God who creates and runs everything and there's no other gods, then that is the right God. The Bible even mentions about those God-fearing people who are not Jewish too.

But because they are believing in the same God, that doesn't mean that they are going to heaven though. Because even Satan believes in God too!

You will get better responses if you try to phrase your question in a less antagonistic manner.

Every time I read one of your questions you phrase them with hostility towards Christians.

Why the bigotry? We are not all as you assume we are.

Catholicism teaches respect for all. Even those without any religion. Yet you assume that all Christians are against anything other than their own faith.

This is simply not true.

In ancient history people have worshipped many THINGS. The moon, the stars, beetles and animals. These things are not gods in any way shape or form.

Buddhists do not worship Buddha. They venerate him.

So right from the get go even if your question wasn't hostile it is faulty.

Myself and those like me respect the religious choices of others. I have atheist friends. I have pagan friends. I have all sorts of friends who differ from my faith.

If i've got discovered something from this super extremely-laptop society it incredibly is that each and each physique faith merits comprehend and no faith is any greater precise or incorrect than the different faith. notwithstanding it would be impossible for all religions to be properly suited because of the fact that they very practically continuously massively contradict one yet another, they actually ARE all properly suited, because of the fact in case you pronounced in simple terms one exchange into precise than you would be asserting that different religions are incorrect, and you in simple terms undeniable won't be able to EVER bypass judgment on somebody else's ideals. extraordinarily ideals that are held based on the theory that no longer thinking something and not desiring evidence for something are virtuous character features. the clarification the Christian Lord God is genuine over Allah and Rama and Krishna is on account that's what my mothers and fathers informed me. My mothers and fathers does not misinform me. it incredibly is often humorous to me how ninety 9% of the individuals of sturdy faith ensue to be a similar faith as their mothers and fathers, yet they a approach or the different understand that their faith is the properly suited one. handy which you weren't born into the incorrect faith. yet i'm valuable had you been born right into a Muslim relatives you will possibly've time-honored to transform to Christianity properly till now you have been out of the domicile. We see it ensue each and all of the time.

Your argument is a logical fallacy.
I don't have to believe in every God to believe in my God. And just because there is one real God is it doesn't follow that all gods are real. That's just a stupid argument. Whether I am right or wrong about the existence of God(s), your argument is silly. Like saying that because I believe mankind exists, I must believe that there are green men on mars too.

"Find one "believer" in one of those so-called gods who actulay had a pwersonal relationship with his "god"..."

*raises hand*

That'd be me, right here. Most other heathens I know, too.

Honestly, the arrogance. Your own god proclaimed mine real right in his "10 Commandments" . . . why *wouldn't* people be able to have personal relationships with them? The ancient godhs of the North are beloved Elder Kinfolk to their people and honored guests at all our rites and feasts!

Freyr, whom I follow above the others, I refer to as "my FRIEND and fully trusted one among the godhs" and this is a *historically validated POV* and the SAME way my ancestors viewed him.

Sheeeesh. Yeah, nobody else loves their godhs. Nobody else talks or prays to their godhs. Nobody else's godhs take an interest or an active role in their lives. Nobody else has a relationship with THEIR godhs.

R-i-i-i-i-g-h-t.

God came to me in a dream one night. he has to everyone i believe. he tells you stuff. you just have to listen. not by what he says but by what he does. What is going on around you? God is speaking. telling you something. Think of all the wonders the world holds, which of most are answered in the bible. God is always right. The other gods are not. Open up the bible and see all its truths. a lot of people believe its a fairy tale.....but only ones with faith do not....we see it how it is....true!

Even my God acknowledges that other gods are real....that is not the question at stake, but rather which one is THE God

My God is the creator, The King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the God of all gods........
I know of no other God that sent His son to rise above death in order to provide salvation for His people
