The best people to help you are in your own family. Spend a couple of hours asking people for their best memories of Uncle Willie. Ask the funeral home staff if they'll give you a copy of his military service record that I'm sure they already ran. You can find out where he served, what he did and how long he was in the military. Then think about your own favorite memories of him...especially the things that just the two of you shared together. No one's going to critique you at the service. Make it special from you to him and it will be a really good memorium.

Try Google-ing his name...or looking in the Army's website for servicemen...
I seriously doubt you'll find ANYONE on here that can provide you with any info...and what they do, could be incorrect...
At someones funeral or memorial, if you plan to speak, it should be about what YOU know about the person...what they meant to you or your family...you will be better off "interviewing" family and friends of Mr. Arceneaux to gather information that would help you....just getting up and rattling off a bunch of "facts" is so inpersonal...do him a favor, if you can't bring it from the heart, don't speak at his service.

Try http://www.people.yahoo.com for his US phone and address. I found a Willie Arceneaux living in Louisiana under this listing. Ancestry.com, as yet, has no information on him.
