For example, having a friend approach / hit on them, etc.

I wouldn't, but the though has crossed my mind, just to see what he would do (out of curiousity). But I would never bother going through with it- trust, I suppose, is the reason why :-)

Since the questions crosses your mind...you are not trusting him.

No, never thought about doing this.

This has disaster written all over it.

Think about it, if you have a friend hit on your significant other and the friend goes through with it, or even does juuuuuuust enough to prove that your partner would cheat on you...have you not just burned both a relationship and also a friend? Would you look at your friend the same way ever again? Also, what happens if he did do it? Maybe he never would have, but because you sent your attack dog of a friend after him with the specific purpose of MAKING him cheat, he does...whose fault is it then? Probably yours.

Plus if you're tempting a guy, then you just suck. This is because we're hardwired to go ahead and take anything easy that is thrown our way. This would end badly for you.

O, you can totally tell when someone is cheating. Do they seem like they are into you? If not, that's the first sign. You can tell when someone is happy and excited to be with you and when someone keeps putting up roadblocks and excuses. I consider this more of a red light for a relationship than the actual deed of an affair.

Yes, hiring a Playboy Playmate to be totally into him WOULD be the ultimate test, and I can tell you most guys would fail. Most never got such a level of social validation in their lives and even if they loved their gf, they would go for it just to be able to say to themselves that that one time in their life they had such an experience. However, I don't consider such tests moral. I doubt girls would fare much better on comparable tests.

No I never have thought about doing that of course now looking back there may be one or two I should have. But no not me I would not do it because I care about that person and love them. I trust that they would have the decency to break up with me before they would cheat on me. Maybe I am to trusting but I think if you are in a relationship you should be able to trust your partner and not try to set them up in a compromising position. It is disrespectful and kinda mean.

Well Christina there are only two ways this can go.Pass or fail. And guess what,he just failed, now what? When you tempt a cat with fish it will bite.Have you considered the fact that the friend you send as a decoy might have a secret crush on him?Don't play this childish game or one day soon you would be invited to the wedding of your 2 ex's

nope, never thought about it. I trust my bf, and he loves me, so I know he wouldn't fall for it, and it would just cause alot of drama. He would eventually figure it out, and wonder why I had done this, and if he didn't he would lose all respect for my friend. I'm pretty sure none of my friends would be comfortable doing that anyway. It would just be opening a big can of worms

In a way I think it would be interesting for some people if you thought you were being cheated on. But I trust my wife completely so in my case there is no reason to.

Trust and doubt sometimes seem to exist on the same plane. I've thought about it too, not just with boyfriends, sometimes with friends, setting up plans and so forth.

You're human, like the rest of us.

I think if you get that far out of whack just break up. I've never cheated and If I found out that the woman I was with was that childish I would break up with her. This is just a very low and pathetic thing to do.
