I do not know the answer to that question. I guess for the same reason people do not like fish, or muchrooms, or onions. They just do not like the taste of them. However, I love them...they taste wonderful!

I personally think cucumbers are okay, but I do not like tomatoes--never have. It's the texture. I love ketchup & tomato soup, but not tomatoes. It drives my husband crazy when I open up a burger and pull out the tomatoes, but sometimes if the tomatoes are heated a certain way, I can eat them with no problem. I also hate onions--love the flavor, but again it's the texture I can't stand.

I'm not sure. If they knew the benefits of these veggies maybe they would like them, or at least get the benefits of eating them from time to time. I am a tomato girl. I can eat them anywhere at anytime; fried, stewed, right off the vine, etc. So, I'm probably not the right person to be answering this question. Cucumbers, I like raw or deep fried in batter. I don't care for them at all when overcooked and mushy.

some peoples' palettes do not like the acidity of tomato. I love both but i am allergic to tomatoes,people who do not like cucumber are out of their minds.

Every one has different taste buds so some dislike things that are utterly incomprehensible to others. Of course there are others that think they are cool to be finicky.
My Dad wouldn't eat cucumbers because he would taste them for days afterward. Yuck!

i love cucumbers but hate tomatoes i dont know why they just dont taste great i dont even like ketchup its all about the musturd man!!

Both are acidic and give me heartburn. I love the taste of both, but they upset my stomach.

i just loooooove tomatoes and cucumbers! with my burgers, eggs, chicken, pork, beef...etc...
sometimes i just wash 'em and eat 'em...
easy, breezy,and healthful!!
