beige or any other neutral...Any other color will quickly become dated...and if u decide to change the color of the room you will have to change the carpet...

I would use light sage, lavendar, or even white -- it will soften and make room larger and decorating for a girl is always exciting -- then use florals in curtains or scarves for the windows.

Dark red.

But change the white trim to ivory.

Cream is too sharp.

White if you are clean people who don't wear shoes in the house.
