I'm a negroni, the most classic (1930's!) and complex of all martinis.
2 oz gin (Tanqueray #10)
1 oz campari
Shake well (don't just let the bartender swirl the drink) and strain into a martini glass. By the way did you know that martini's are traditionally made with gin?
I sometimes sweeten mine a bit with a 1/4 oz of Cointreau. Be warned it's an acquired taste and takes some getting used to - but you won't be able to drop it till the last sip. You'll wonder if it's sweet, or if it's bitter - or if it's both. Whatever it is, you won't be able to put your finger on - and this is the beauty of the Negroni.

Martinis disgust me...well the classic martinis that is.
Chocolate martini is alright, just not my flavour
Cosmopolitan is the best new age martini ive had, excluding custom restaurant ones that more sweet than strong
