Why won't my recorded DVD play on my DVD Player? I have a Toshiba SD-1600.?

I am using a DVD+R DVD and my user manual says that it plays DVD+R so any ideas why it won't play. I already finalized it and I can get it to play on other DVD players just not this one. Thanks.

At what speed did you record? I had a player that could not play the longer speeds that my recorder could record at ( 6 hour, 8 hour and 10 hour modes)
