This could be a really difficult time for him, especially if you guys used to be close. If he has not told you yet he is probably scared of what you are going to think about him, so I would give him time. Be patient with him and once you have calmed down then you can sit down with him and can camly discuss it.

I imagine that he already knows that he is gay. If you mean how do you tell him that you know, just pull him aside and tell him. If you support him and love him you can tell him this too and it will be a burden lifted from his shoulders to have someone in his family know this.
If you have a hard time with his lifestyle, let him know this as well but, let him know that he is still your brother and I am sure that you still love him or you wouldn't be asking this question.

If your question is How do you tell him you found out that he was gay. My answer would be Why not tell him what and how you found out and ask if it is true. I don't think he needs to answer to you as if he was on trial. You may not agree with his lifestyle however I think you are acting very immature about the whole thing.

Why would u tell him he's gay? Doesn't he know this already? Just talk to him about it. You're brothers, you should be able to talk about anything. Just don't be mean. Be respectful, because no matter what, he'll always be your brother.

You'd be a better brother if you supported him. If he wants to keep it a secret, then kepp it to yourself, but tell him you know and if he needs someone to talk to then he can talk to you. If you are uncomfortable about him discussing details, tell him that up front, but if he needs to talk about how he can tell your parents or friends, maybe you can give him suggestions on that. If you cannot do it without putting him down, then keep it to yourself and do not tell him you know. Then, try to keep his secret for him. You'd be a better brother for it. He already feels awkward and lonely enough.

I am a bit confused......how should you tell him what? That you found out or are you the one who is "gay" and need to tell him? Please give more info.

you wait till he comes to you, he hasnt told you for a reason, wait until he is comfortable enough with who he is himself to come to you
if you see he is struggling to keep this to himself, THATS when you have to decide how to broach the subject tactfully.
It will be a great comfort to him knowing he has your support when the time comes

WELL!! Simple tell him you already know his sexual preferences. No need to hide in the closet anymore .. it is too dark in there. Don't forget to tell him he will always be your brother. PERIOD.
