Shanni,
Everyone is different tell your boyfriend how that makes you feel some people have no problem when their significant other makes comments while others may feel like they are being disrespected. I don't know what your reaction was or for that matter who or what he is commenting on but if you get really worked up maybe you have some issues with your self esteem that need to be addressed. But if he is really disrespecful I think you guys should talk about it and go from there good luck

Well, it depends on the nature of the comments, I guess. If he's just a jokey sort of guy and says things about how hot Angelina Jolie is or something, it's just sort of something guys tend to do a lot. However, if he is unfavorably comparing you with other women he finds attractive, or is using vulgar words to describe women's bodies, then it sounds like he is sexist and potentially emotionally abusive. What you should do in either case is let him know, gently but firmly, that you would rather he didn't comment about other women when you're around. Try to bring some humor into it- be like, "What am I, chopped liver?" when he checks out a girl or says something about a hot celebrity. He probably doesn't mean anything by it, and just forgets you're not one of "the guys" sometimes.

It means you have a different opinion about whether it's right or wrong. And the answers expressing right or wrong on this are also going to be the opinion of only that person.
I've been with women who've pointed out other women to me. And I point out guys to them. They were strong confident women and were comfortable enough to know who they were and know their own value. They weren't intimidated or frightened by a complete stranger and neither am I.
I honestly don't want to be with someone I have to walk on eggshells around just so I don't bruise her ego. Beauty is beauty and I'm going to look. It says nothing about the woman I'm with. If she really thinks I'm with her only for some superficial reason then she's insulting me and we should probably move on.
I'll find someone more confident with themselves and she can find someone to stroke her fragile ego.

You know what
It's NOT silly at all!
i feel the same way when my boyfriend comments on other girls looks, even if it's a celebrity in a magazine. It's normal to feel insecure after a comment is made by someone you love. Who cares though, just comment about how you think she's pretty too if you agree, so that he doesn't think your jealous or anything.

Silly? No.
Its probably pointless, however.
That is, you won't get him to change that behavior.
If he does, then you might need to start becoming suspicious that he is actually fooling around with them.
Let him know that it hurts you - and maybe (unlikely), he'll stop.
Otherwise, you have to ask yourself if this is something you can put up with.
Aren't you glad he is being honest with you?

No, it's not silly. He needs to be more sensitive and realize that he's with you. Instead of commenting about other women's looks, he should be commenting about your good looks and how lucky he is to have you.

Well, it really depends on what he says.
If he says, "Oh, look at that hot, sexy girl. I want to make sweet, sweet love with her.", then you have a right to be upset.
If he says, "I like her shirt.", then it's nothing really to be upset about.

I don't think so, sounds like you are like me and have a bit of jealousy in you. But he shouldn't be looking in the first place.
