I don't know what religion I actually believe in, so if this sounds like one you knw, then let me know. I do believe in a higher power, unsure about God. Believe there was someone named Jesus, who believed that he ahd to die for our sins. I believe in reincarnation and the after life. I believe in angels, in the way that there is a spirit that looks after you. I believe in ghosts and entities that are both good and bad. I am not against homosexuality or pre-marital sex. I believe in witchcraft as a religion-only like the good. i am unsure about how the world started. I believe there is a scientific reason for everything. I have to see it to believe it. I believe in Karma. IDK. I'm really confused.

Keep researching religions until you find something that makes good logical sense to YOU. Nobody can tell you what to believe and think. You sound rather Buddhist basically but there's more to it than just what you wrote here. Keep studying, come to your own logical conclusions or not, and btw, I wish you well.

i dont know that there is a religion that exactly fits your belief sets. it seems like you have taken bits and pieces from lots of different religions. in a way, i think you would be limiting yourself and your beliefs by trying to choose a religion and labeling yourself as a member of that religion. or, you can choose a religion but not believe everything. for example, i am christian, but i dont believe everything exactly as the church has packaged it. i am not against homosexuality, and i do believe there is a scientific reason for everything. i have found that even the beliefs that do not fit those of the church can fit with my faith and perception of God. I would encourage you to keep looking. i am glad you are so sure of your beliefs, and i hope you can find what you are looking for in a religion. good luck!!

I have been a Christian for a long time and have concluded that you don't need modern day religious organizations to connect with God. Yes the religious world out there is quite confusing and who do you believe? Everybody seems to have an answer, but they all conflict with one another. I stopped going to the religious institutions to find God on my own and guess what. He was there waiting for me all along.

Here's a website that you may want to check out. They are not affilliated to any religious group and have alot of free resources on what believing in God is all about.

Some of it is new age. It is mostly a hodge-podge.

If you really have to see it to believe it, then you are contradicting yourself in the other items, such as Karma and reincarnation. Ever see it?

Perhaps you would be well served to take the time and study Scripture and see what it says for starters.

You are not the only person on this earth who is confused. Sometimes we never really get a solid answer; however, what is important is the search. You will find satisfaction in your growing knowledge and friends. Continue asking questions. Continue talking to others and share experiences. You will find your way.

Yes you are confused. Better to find out what is true than trying to find a "religion" that will accommodate your varied opinions....and I do not mean that unkindly.

Jesus said He was the truth, and the bible is the inspired word of God. Please pursue what God has set down in His word, the bible. He will sort all these things out for you and show you what is so....then you will have peace and assurance.
