Here's a link to the skills sheet for the AHA HeartSaver AED.

If you're still certifying with the Red Cross, I'd highly recommend you consider switching to the American Heart Association. These certifications are valid for two years. The AHA is the only accepted CPR course by many healthcare organizations (hospitals, pre- and post-hospital care). My agency, for instance, only accepts the AHA.

Don't get me wrong, the Red Cross is a great organization... and their first aid course is excellent. But for CPR, I'd prefer AHA.

Here's a link to the AHA CPR site:

You can go to your local Red Cross and for like $1.50 or so buy the CPR for the Workplace manual (there's also a schools and community book, but the workplace book is cheaper). You won't find it on-line if you're not an instructor.

It's not hard but I would get the book anyway - they've updated some techniques in the past year and it's all in the book - 15 chest compressions are no longer the norm and they added back blows (depending on how long ago you took it).

If you are doing your recert as a Review, you'll get a copy of the book and have the chance to review the videos before you take the tests. There are only 50 questions, and none are that tricky.

Don't sweat it, just take your time with the test and eliminate the bad answers.
