help,so he told me to just quit taking it. I seem to feel worse not being on itexcept the diarehha is gone. i read you shouldnt suddenly stop taking it because there could be side effects from stopping it. Does anyone know about Cymbalta.My Dr. quit praticing in my town so Im at a loss at waht to do.

Listen...it won't kill you but you go through horrible withdrawal symptoms from Cymbalta.

I had weened off of it and still the withdrawal symptoms were horrible and lasted a little over 2 weeks. I had buzzing feelings in my brain, flu like symptoms and my mood was all over the place.

most anti depressants cause either constipation or diarrhea. it doesn't matter what the dose is.i'm on celexa and i've found that if i take it in the afternoon ,instead of morning with coffee, the diarrhea doeasn't occur as often and is less severe. try that and find a new doc soon. i'd rather have a bit of stomach issues than go back to the way i was w/o my meds.
