Here Comes the Bride, otherwise known as the wedding march from Lohengrin, is most commonly used as a processional (when the bride is coming up the aisle). The most commonly used recessional (as the wedding party walks back down the aisle) is Mendelsohn's wedding march from Midsummer Night's Dream.
Neither piece of music is required, though. You may choose to use them in that order, the reverse, or not at all. For instance, I dislike Here Comes the Bride, we had a Scottish folk band providing all the music and were holding the wedding in the woods in a picnic-like atmoshpere. It seemed silly to go with something classical at all. My bagpiper played HIghland Wedding as he led me up the aisle, and Mairi's Wedding as we led the guests down to the reception area.
Feel free to follow tradition, tweak it to your preference, or discard it for something you like better.

Just when she walks in. There is a recessional march for after the ceremony. Try limewire and put in wedding music and it should be listed there as a recessional march. or try something new. When a friend of mine got married, they are both huge OU Sooner fans, so for their exit they played the OU fight song, Boomer Sooner. Be creative, find something that both you and your husband have an interest in and pick a song that fits that interest, unless you want to be totally traditional, then go with the Recessional march. Hope this helps

typically its played when the bride is walking up. but its your wedding, do whatever you want! a lot of couples dont play that song anymore, theyll play something like panchabells' cannon in d minor, which is really pretty.
