Whoever goes aright, for his own soul does he go aright; and whoever goes astray, to its detriment only does he go astray: nor can the bearer of a burden bear the burden of another, nor do We chastise until We raise a messenger.
Do not associate with God any other god, lest you sit down despised, neglected.
Your Lord knows best what is in your minds; if you are good, then He is surely Forgiving to those who turn (to Him) frequently.
And follow not that of which you have not the knowledge; surely the hearing and the sight and the heart, all of these, shall be questioned about that.
And do not go about in the land exultingly, for you cannot cut through the earth nor reach the mountains in height.

His Mercy
"But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His Mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, who he poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life" Titus 3:4-7
His Love
"If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit." 1 John 4:11
Trust
"Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed hin Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" John 8:38
Faith
"These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may KNOW that you have eternal life, and that yo may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God." 1 John 5:13
Know
"Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Me. ...And where I go you know, and the way you know.....Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:1-6
I love the gospel Of John too. Hope these all help. It is Wonderful to have faith in such a loving God.

You live righteously, read the bible, go to church, remain faithful, pray, give up earthly pleasures, get baptized in jesus name and recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost and repent. Then you definitely know you'll be saved, but trust me it's not easy. Our flesh is our worst enemy.

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you ask forgiveness, you repent from your sins, you will be saved because Jesus will keep His part of the deal when you keep your part.
