Small intimate and festive wedding. Probably 50 people.

Well, we had originally wanted a small wedding, but there's no way that's going to happen because there will be way too many hurt feelings. We had wanted to just invite 50-60 guests, but the list seems to be skyrocketing towards 150-200. We can afford a bigger wedding, so that's not the issue. I really wanted just a small quiet wedding with the people who mean the most to me and my man, but he has too many friends that he "has" to invite. It's a little irritating.

We're having 2 members of wedding party on each side. 150 guests...all family with a few friends sprinkled in.

Its pretty large by my standards but by his family is small and intimate.

Top two things I want for my wedding is great pictures and my guests to have a good time. Thats what makes people remember your wedding.

We had a small and intimate wedding at a local dance hall. It cost a total of about 800 dollars and that included sodas and food (my mom catered it). The hall was able to accomodate about 250 people and we had like 225 show up. A large wedding is okay and maybe a dream come true but the way we thought about it was: The wedding won't be our greatest accomplishment~our marriage will be. And thank God it has!

I vote for something in the middle. Intimate enough that you know everyone there and get a chance to really talk to everyone. Big enough to consider it one heck of a bash. I'll be having about 80-90 guests at my wedding.

My wedding party will be small - 3 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen.

I prefer small intimate weddings where the focus is the bride and groom, not all money and show. My wedding party consists of immediate family only, and that works. If I wanted to be completely selfish I would have eloped and only told everyone else to just get over it.

Ours is going to be intimate AND festive!!
We each have one person standing for us-no huge wedding "court" putting on a show....and our guest list consist of about 120-140.

I like weddings with 100 to 200 people total, 150 is about perfect. I like them large and festive, with lots of food, wine, dancing, catching up with people you haven't seen. The couple of small weddings I've been to just aren't as fun.

Definitely small and intimate for me. I don't like being the center of attention so a big wedding (even 50 people) would be awful for me. (I'm not shy, but I hate everyone looking at me.) I hope to get married with just me, my groom and our immediate families. I'd also like to have one MOH and one bestman and their spouses.

That's not to say I don't dream about the big, festive wedding! I know what my cake would look like, the food, decor, etc... But I know that in the actual situation I just woudn't be comfortable!
