Listen it is normal when you are young and if you do not then he will feel rejected. Say it but also make sure that I love you shows you are capable of love but that you also say I love you to yourself twice as much.

I think anything can get worn out but the word love has to have feeling behind it otherwise it is just word. Depending on the length of your relationship he may feel you are crowding him. Love is a spontaneous thing. You can appreciate each other with what we do for each other. A relationship is a 60/40 deal, with both of you. You give 60% to each other and 40% is for space. We all need this. Give him some time and this will come natural for him if it is true love. Even after marrige we still need our space. Read the book Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus to give you better insight. Good luck to you ,,,,, PS , There is never day that goes by that I do not tell my wife that I love her

There is no such thing as saying I love you too often. My fiance would ask me why I made him say it several times a day. He wasn't used to saying it, as he grew up in an abusive household. I'm not that romantic or needy, but for some reason I always wanted him to say it, which he always did (and meant it). He passed away unexpectedly last year, and I am so glad that we said I love you to each other all the time. I have no regrets about that. I never doubt now that he loved me.

well instead of telling him all the time Which is Great, why not find little love cards and hide them places where he will find them.I do tell My Husband I love him often at least 10 times a day ,it's just who I am I guess I like for him to know.I leave sticky notes on the bathroom mirror telling him I love him or am thinking about him.I went away last weekend and posted them all over the house where I knew when he went there he would see them.

Unless it is you casual everyday love ya when getting off the phone or leaving it really only needs to be said during sex and with an I could eat you tone. Seriously, actions should speak louder than words and we should all let them but we don't. Help make the world a saner place and pass on the info.

If he is a good person and you love him it is never to much, especially since the feeling is mutual. I am happy to hear someone is in love and happy. Don't worry about appreciating him to much, it just makes him feel good and he will continue doing things for you.

i don't think there is a scale on how often is too often. i think that if you are wondering and if you and your bf are that happy and in love why not ask him? there may have been a reason for him sounding unenthusiastic. in any good relationship communication is important and you should be able to talk about this with him.

It is never too often. My b/f and I tell eachother that we love eachother and that we are wonderful to eachother and all the other stuff several times on the phone within an hour. It is wonderful to express yourself and to compliment others and to make them feel loved.

You can never say that you love someone too much....in fact I think you've just reminded me tat I don't say it enough, omg.
Maybe he's not used to you saying it so often, so I'd rephrase the words to somethig like....
"Lately I've been realising how much I love you"
or
"It's times like this that make me realise that I love you loads"

He'll either appreciated one day or miss it one day. I make a habit to tell my girl everday that I really do love her, because if anything was to happen to me I wouldn't want the last thing to come out my mouth to be something mean. I have never heard of someone who can't listen to someone you love tell you how they feel
