Just thought it'd be fun to droop a clock over the corner of a PC tower or TV or something?

yes there is technology being developed to do this.. In Japan they have screens that are flexible and like paper..

I would make one out of fimo , If I was serious about making one.Fimo is like Plasticine which you then put in the oven , and It sets like plastic.Its a nice idea though.You could go the whole hog and make a big sofa out of a pair of plastic lips and put it in the corner .Yes , and make a huge white plastic egg , and put it outside your front door to impress your neighbours.

Dunno about melting timepieces, but if you leave a vinyl record album (remember them?!) in a hot car, they'll melt.
