This is the kind of question that guys generally ask. Anyway, it is much easier to tell if a guy like as girl rather than the other way around.
First of all does the dude know you, does he know of you or does he even know you alive?
I take it as that he knows you.
Generally dude's are quite shy, talk to him if he blabs a pile of rubbish because he is nervous then he likes you. Does he ever make silly comments? does he try to make you laugh? Does he ever try to impress you with things such as his physical strengths, etc.
Ask him to go to see a chick flick with you, if he says yes then he deffinitely likes you.
Or just go to him and ask.

Just keep talking to him and watch how he reacts. You're a girl, so you're pre-programmed to detect the signs that mean he's interested. When you go up and talk to him, you put the ball in his court, and unless you are really into him, the pressure is on him to ask you out. I've only been asked out by a girl twice, and I've asked out probably close to 20 girls in my time, so my experience suggests it's usually his responsibility to make the first move. There are exceptions though!

If you want to know A-sap then you can have your friends do it for you. I just did last night.
One of my friends likes this guy so I decided to grab another friend and say that we had a bet going I bet that he liked her she bet he didn't(we didn't really it was just a way to get a straight foward answer)
We said we promis we won't tell(cross your fingers if you have a problem with lieing.)Then after he spills your friends tell you.
Tell them if he says no that they should say"but you'd be such a cute couple... you should get to know her...etc.

ask him, my best friend (who is a boy) him and his friends dont understand why girls cant just ask them out it's not big deal sometimes guys are scared to make the first move believe me when i did i was so freaked out!!!!!!!! and i asked him if he liked me and he said he did and we have been goin out for awhile now!!!
