My lower jaw is swollen and hurts. The skin over tht area even itches. What could this be? Should I see my dr?

Mine was like that and i saw my Dr. he sent me to the dentist and i had TMJ...this is serious so please go see a doctor soon. Problems like this leads to other problems with your ears,throat and head be careful.

Your lymph nodes will usually swell when you have an infection. Since it is just one lymph node, you may have a small infection that is not presenting itself at the moment. Keep an eye on it and if gets worse or you notice other symptoms, contact your doctor.

Could be a variety of things. Maybe its your teeth, maybe you have the mumps, maybe you have tetanus, which causes lockjaw, and maybe you slept on it wrong it could be anything to be completely honest.

I would suggest a doctor appointment if its still a problem. You should never self diagnosis.

It can be TMJ
tooth/gum infection
constantly eating hard candy or frozen things
sleeping on your face in the pillow.
Just in case it is the first two, I would see a doctor.

u probably have a cut some were in ur mouth and it got infected and u should see a doctor and your skin inside your mouth is probably iching because the cut is trying to heal and u might have tooth gum infection.

Yes you should see your doctor. It might be TMJ, but it may also be mumps.

well obviously you have an infectious process going, either see your doctor or a dentist, either one can help you.
