I have 5 tattoos.
2 on my chest A mermaid on the left and a swallow on the right. They are from a song that I love (Prisoners-Regina Spektor) and they are very symbolic of my struggle with my family.
1 on my wrist in white that says "VIRULENT ♥ "
Before I changed my name I used to DJ under the name DJ Vi Rival. (short for Viral) I decided to change my name to Olivia (incorporating the Vi again) and I started tagging Virulent &hearts all over the place. It reminds me of the adrenaline rush i got whenever i layed down a fresh tag.
1 on my hip that looks like this [Wm]
This is the abbreviation for William, which is the name of my fiancee. 'Nuf said.
1 on my lip that says "C37859"
My horse was a retired racehorse and that was the ID number that was tattooed on his lip. I miss that horse a whole freakin' lot. His name was Calvin, and he was awesome.

My one and only tattoo is on the back of my neck. It is a small rose and the vine and leaves curl around to make it in the shape of a heart. Very beautifully done.
I got this tattoo just over 7 years ago when I was 17 years old.
My reason for getting this tattoo was as a memorial from an abortion I had three months prior. I was forced into the abortion and I regretted it from the moment it happened. I was carrying around A LOT of guilt over going through with the abortion.
At the time, I had finished reading the book "The Scarlet Letter". For those of you who do not know what this book was about, this woman committed adultry, and therefore her punishment was to have a scarlet letter "A" sewn on the front of her dresses, so that way everyone who saw her, knew that she was an adulterer.
I felt in a way like my tattoo way my way of saying to myself "I sinned". I didn't want to forget about the abortion as it was a part of me, just like my baby was a part of me.
This tattoo reminds me that I am strong and though I've made bad choices, I can do good and keep moving forward in life.

1st - Butterfly on my left breast - got it when I was 18 - symbol of my freedom
2nd - Bunny on my rear end - the 6 year old daughter of the guy I was seeing at the time called me 'wabbit' - and he hated tattoos - seemed like a win-win decision. ;)
3rd - Celtic sun on the back of my neck - my husband has the same tattoo in the same place, we had them done at the same time.
4th - Monarch Fairy on my left thigh - Partly I just liked the design, used the monarch colors in memory of my Step daddy that passed away. (He was an Entomologist and had done his doctoral thesis on the Monarch Butterfly)
5th - Weeping fairy on my right thigh - simply loved the image, she is very cool
6th - A kitty face on my ... "kitty". Meaning should be obvious.
7th - Cat face on my ankle - is a good representation of our cat Simon - though he drives me NUTS sometimes - I do love the little feline.
8th and 9th - Tribal dragons - part one & two of 5 parts - solid black on my right shoulder, stone work on my left.
10th and 11th - have not been done yet but will be reflections in red of 8 & 9.
12th - not done yet but will be "Dragon Soul" in Kanji.

My tattoo is a cross that i hand drew. the meaning behind it to me is the obvious faith. but to me is even when it seems that i'm lost, when i dont do the obvious catholic thing, when i know i dont pray when i should go to mass as often as i should i know that when im not seen as the perfect person. only god can judge me and only he truly knows the faith that i have in him and the connection we both share traditional or not i know its there and my cross is just another reminder of that.

The only one I have so far is the Kanji for Dragon in just the black outline on the back side my ankle. It's my personality, a time in my life, getting out of highschool, changing. It's part of me.

I have the Japanese symbols for "daughter" on my leg.(obviously for my daughter) On the other side is a Samurai with the symbol for "son" over his heart. The Samurai never give up their honor and beliefs. This is something I want to instill in my son...
