Varies from state to state and lease to lease; usually they can start on day 31 and do start after 90.

Depending on your credit history with them, and the amount of time you have had the vehicle, it could be as little as 2 weeks from the date of the missed payment.

If you have been paying on time, and one payment is late, they may call you and ask if there is a problem. The payment could have been delayed in the mail, or they could have failed to credit it to your account correctly!

If you are consistently late, and they have to call you every month, they will put it up for repo a lot faster. They want to get rid of the "problem" one way or another!

More than likely...

10 past due = late charge
30 past due = reported to credit bureau
45 past due = notice of repossesion if not paid
60 past due= repossesion

good luck.....

I know this process ALL TOO WELL!! you have to be about 2 payments behind or 60 days...then they start hounding the crap out of you...and if you dont call back...they will repo it after about 65 days. If you will call they will try and help you out. Honestly....and its REALLY expensive to get it out of repo!

If you're asking this question, it probably has already started.
