Helping professions like social work, nursing, counseling, psycology. These are places where a gentle nature is a positive that actually enhances your opp for performance.
You could get a job in an office as a secretary or human resources, but if you're too gentle and not a go getter enough, you may find yourself stuck in these positions and not getting much higher in life.
Just some thoughts.

An office job such as at a church filled with filing, doing reports, and maybe writing letters. A job that is quiet and not stressful. If you are quiet and shy, find a job where you can just work on your own without a lot of supervision. Sometimes those supervisors are micro-managers and want to know what you are doing every minute of the day.

Hi,
Indoor activities like admin jobs might suit them. They can also choose some home based jobs if they come across a genuine opportunity. People who are shy, quiet and gentle nature do well in creative works like writing. You may get some more info to your query on http://www.positionadvice.info . Check it out. Good luck!

Did you say in an earlier question that you worked for a doctor? Maybe you would feel more at home doing the same sort of work (transferable skills etc.) … but for a vet!
Everyone at the lovely vet's where I take my beautiful little cat are quiet and gentle.
Like me, you need to find something working for a 'fluffy' employer, not a 'spiky' one.
Good luck.

an introvert who is sensitive might do better in something like computer programming or something where you don't need constant demanding people contact. you probbaly would not suit marketing, recruitment, HR etc.
if you have artistic talents it would be worth pursuing your gifts in those areas, something like interior design can lead to a job where you get a lot of alone time too.
