How come Jesus never wrote anything himself while alive, but then writes perfect Greek after he is dead in the form of the Book of Revelation?

John wrote the book of Revelation. Aren't you the same one who asked yesterday if Jesus was ice skating on the water? I can't figure out if you really are ignorant or if you are just trying to be funny. If humor is the goal, try a different approach.

John the Beloved wrote Revelation, not Jesus Christ.

The Apostle John was alive when Jesus Christ was upon the earth. Carrying a lamp as he journeyed with Jesus in a darkened land, John filled it with the oil he received from this natural vine. For hundreds of years, he covered his lamp as he lived among the earth’s inhabitants. Like a golden candlestick on which a flame still burns after hundreds of years, John’s lamp remains lit. It would light the world, if it were not hidden among a group of writings accepted by the masses as a source of all truth. It has become known as the book of Revelation. His lamp is unable to give its light and warmth because of the dark robes and dark suits worn by the religious leaders who stand in front of it, keeping the people from seeing its light.

The books of the New Testament were not selected, edited, and collated until hundreds of years after the death of Jesus. John was still alive then, and in disguise, visited those responsible for its canonization. His writings were profound. They gave the editors a different view of Jesus’ ministry than that which had been passed down from one generation to the next. John also delivered his manuscript for his Revelation to the editors, knowing they would never comprehend its meaning because of the symbolic and metaphorical way in which it was written. In this way, John maintained the integrity of the manuscript for hundreds of years.

Jesus did not write the Greek. The Gospels, written in Greek, were written by people who wrote Greek, and potentially had an acquaintance with the apostles of Jesus. The Epistles, also written in Greek, were written by the Apostle Paul or others who belonged to the movement that eventually came to be known as Christianity. Many of these books are attributed to apostles, such as I and II Peter and I II and III John. These apostles did not write these books, but in that time, it was considered honorable to write something and attribute it to someone for whom you had great respect or who shared your views. Jesus spoke Aramaic, and we do hear that he could read Hebrew, but none of the books of the Newer Testament were attributed to the authorship of Jesus.

Wow. Some people are content to just be ignorant, and other people feel the need to flaunt their ignorance.

John wrote Revelation, describing both what he saw and what he heard.

And "perfect" Greek would be an opinion. There were different "levels" of Greek, the most common being Koine.

John wrote the book of Revelation while he was on Patmos. Jesus didn't come to earth to be an author. He came to glorify God, to show us how to live / treat others / honor God and to be a willing sacrifice for our sins in order to bridge the gap between God and man so that we could once again have a RELATIONSHIP with the Lord and be with Him for eternity!

Jesus is God who gave the Bible. He is the author in that means. But He did not personally write it. Jesus was here in a human form, He had certain job to do. He did that.

There is no writing (Revelation or otherwise) attributed to Jesus. That would be why Revelation's full name is "The Revelation of John."
