I'm having twins and in my 8 month. Everything is okay except for stretch marks. It feels like it's tearing my skin to shreads! Can anyone tell me a good way to get rid of it, or to help. Thanks!

Coco butter, shea butter, vitamin E lotions. Keep it well moisturized. Mederma works well, but I'm not sure if you can use it while your pregnant.

I had two very large babies (2 different pregnancies) and no matter what I tried I got tons of stretch marks. I wouldn't even waste money on lotions because they don't work. This is just the nature of having big babies or multiples I guess. It stinks but that's the way it is. I have heard you can get laser treatments but it is best to have it done before the stretch marks stop being dark and/or red. Usually they are done being dark before you even give birth! If you find something that really does work let me know! : )

There are some great items at places that have homeopathic and herbal/ natural items. However, the honest truth is that stretch marks are inherited and there's not a lot you can do to prevent or make them disappear. But I have heard of items (internet) that have help them fade, some. Good Luck!

everyone says coco butter, but that did nothing to help me, and you wont be able to do anything about it till the babies are born, but after they are born try using "Madermia"-not sure i spelled it right, but i do use it (gave birth 16 weeks ago) and its great, it is actually a scar cream and i was using it on my scar from my c-section (its great for that too!) and noticed it was also helpin the stretch marks (i have a ton of em) now i use it on my whole belly, and its a god-send

hope this helps,

nothing can totally get rid of them but to help fade them or prevent new ones try cocoa butter and vitamin E oil. Also after you have your baby try that Stri-Vecten cream, I have heard great things about it fading stretch marks. Congrats on your baby!!

Bio Oil. You should have a look on their website - it's supposed to be excellent for treating scars, stretch marks and skin discolouration.

Nothing will work, if you are going to get stretch marks you won't be able to stop them. Cream will help with the itching etc but won't stop them appearing.

Keep your skin well moisturized and if its okay with your doctor, try using cocoa butter and/or vitamin E oil. Gentle massage helps too.
