according to the American medical association we need to eat five fruits a day. Protein should be consumed in small portions six times a day to keep your blood level even. complex Carbohydrates can be consumed four times daily. It sounds like you already have a good lifestyle change going on. What I think would help you is a good Multi vitamin. The brain requires 85 percent of your nutrition and it usually only gets fifteen percent, that's why vitamins are so important.
Spirlina Powder taken 1tsp. twice daily feeds the brain Directly and you will have better concentration and feel less tired.

Fruit won't harm you -but you want to be careful with the sugar (you don't want it to be all fruit), which is why you need to balance your fruit with your veggies.
Like all preservatives, high fructose corn syrup is overkill - it's fruit sugar on steroids.
The tricky part is that high fructose corn syrup is just about everything we buy - juices, sodas, breads, cookies, cereals, peanut butter....you get the idea - and you've already did alot by cutting them out. But by avoiding them altogether, you could be depleting your nutritional intak which could attribute to your lack of energy and focus.
The good news is that you don't have to go completely organic (that can get expensive) there are brands of these foods that don't contain harmful preseratives like trans fats, high fructose corn syrup, aspertame, or enriched/refined flour (anything that says "enriched" - as in bread and pasta, means all the natural minerals in the grain been wiped out)
As for how may times to eat - some say 3, some say 6 (including snacks) - what you don't want to do is starve yourself
You need lean protein and complex carbs - you want some form of that with every main meal at least. And there are certain fats that you need - like the ones found in natural oils (Olive oil)
Alternatives
Breads/Pasta - first ingredient should say 100% Whole Wheat flour. If it says "enriched" leave it on the shelf - Pepridge Farms is a good bread. Barilla pasta is also a good choice
Peanut butter/Jams - there are some without the added sugar - Teddy's All natural Peanut butter's one, and I found a jam called Bonne Maman which is all natural
Juices - Since you're already eating fruit, so you might be better off - but when you've had enough of that - some of juices with no added preservatives:Welches Grape, Juicy Juice, and Nantucket Nectar. Also - Ocean Spray 100% Cranberry has no added sugar.
There's a guy on Oprah - Dr. Mahmet Oz who has some pretty practical insight on health and nutrition, you should look him up.

well fruit has fructose which breaks down into sugar, which CAN be fattening, but fruit has a lot of vitamins that you need in your body, so a fair amount of fruit intake a day is good for you, maybe 1 or 2 pieces, but remember you need a balanced diet, a balanced diet is the best diet you can pursue in your lifestyle, so make sure you get an event amount of serving for each food group, if you look at the new food pyramid, it's way different from what it is before.

You should normally strive for a meal containing all the necessary nutrients every time you are having it. But even if you cannot include all of them, it is not a problem. Scattered pattern of absorption of nutrients too works pretty well. Likewise, it is better to eat those foods you cannot eat during the day when you are at home and prepare something easy but healthy and sustaining for the day (or when you are busy at work). Fruits are very good for health or at least better than those things you were eating formerly, but fruits must be washed very well before eating to avoid pesticides residue. So if you are not in the position of washing them before eating, better not eat them at that time and eat as much as you want when you are at home and able to wash them well before eating. Protein is better if you choose lean protein from animal sources and a lot of it from plant sources. As far as carbs are concerned, make half of your grains whole and have it principally in the morning. Protein is better at night when your body will start the reparation of cells in your sleep. To avoid snacking on junk foods, why don't you choose healthy snacks like almonds or ready to eat wholegrain cereals. They contain vitamins, minerals and their energy release too is slow and will keep you going all day.

You should eat 6 times a day. Each meal should consist of a protein source (Low fat cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, chicken, fish..etc) and a carb (whole grain slice of bread, rice cakes, popcorn, shredded wheat..etc) and green leafy vegetables. I feel like crappola if I haven't had enough protein in a day. Many women don't eat anywhere near enough protein. The RDA is .8 grams for every 2.2 lbs.
Fruit is fine, but only a few servings a day and make sure you try to stick to lower calorie ones. For instance, watermelon, cantaloupe.. etc. The calories from fruit do count, but so long as they're figured in their fine.

For the most part your food plan looks particularly good. The fruit itself is precious, but snacking is a dependancy with a view to aid to keep the weight on. It would be better to devour as a lot fruit as you need, but devour it handiest at meal times. Another suggestion is to do away with all free fats (oils) from your eating regimen. Many of the free oils consumed within the weight loss plan shall be saved in the physique.

I think it is the kind of fruit you have. Do not eat anything with fructose or glucose an int but fresh fruit. No bananas because they have a lot of sugar. You can have cherries, blueberries, strawberries, peaches to give you an idea.

Hey, you are on the right track!
If you eat fruit, the best time is on an empty stomach--early morning, and just before meals! Thus there won't be excess gas and you won't feel bloated!

My doc told me to much of anything is bad for you. I know I eat regular meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) but for a snack I normally eat a banana in between breakfast and lunch, an orange and later a cucumber in between lunch and dinner, and I normally don't eat anything after dinner.
All fruits have natural sugar in them, so if you eat to much of them, then yes eating to much fruits is bad.
