Yes, I do think it is possible.
However, marriage comes with certain benefits/protections. I've seen so many posts on this forum from men and women who break up after 5, 10, 20, even 40 years of relationship and then complain that everything they had is gone and they have no recourse or protection under law. You can't have it both ways.
