What is the legal age to serve alcohol in Texas restaurants?

Can you be a server at a restaurant that serves alcohol at age 18?

Check with the restaurant - sometimes you can be a server, but someone over 21 has to handle your alcohol orders. That's how they do it here in NY, and I would think that would be standard.

you have to be 18 to serve/handle it and 21 to drink it. doesn't that stink! what a tease. i was at the PA Liquor store last night, i am 23 and the cashier was 18 and carded me. what a joke.
