Yes. At least 60,000 Iraqi civilians dead, either directly or indirectly connected the the US invasion.

And, in his rabid opposition to abortion, he says "All life is precious...". What a hypocrite!

Iraq was not responsible for 9-11-01.Bush wanted to be a war president so he started on a practically defenseless country and President Saddam Husein and the war was over in a week or so but, then the war for the country stated with the Iraqi people and it still isn't over years later. The cretin Bush will be remembered as a war president but not as he would have wished. He will be remembered as the man who sent thousands to their deaths needlessly.

Edit, how quickly others forget, the war in Iraq did not start over terrorist acts or terrorism at all,it started when Bush LIED to everyone about weapons of mass destruction.Bush is a LIAR,there were no WMDs at all and never had been.

Yes,and No. Those who continue to support him and who voted for him & those who make excuses for him & those who cover up for him are responsible as well. Iraq didn't start this war! Osoma bin Laden from Afghanistan started the war or so we were told! I still to this day haven't understood how or why our youth were sent to Iraq.Whenever we ask why someone starts talking about the horriable events of 9/11! Iraq had nothing to do with the attack on 9/11.

Everybody is looking to blame someone for the war, and it usually is the president. No one ever thinks about the 3,000 Americans that died on 9/11. What did they do to deserve to die? I bet a pretty penny if one of them was your mother , or farther you wouldn't be thinking the way you are. The only thing I have against the war is that Iraq is about the size of Texas, and they still can't get the job done! If you know about Hitler ,He was a sort of terrorist. We took care of him in about five years, and he had his whole country backing him up. That tells me that we are just piddle- farting around with the lives of our troops that's over there now! Germany lost the war mainly because, his officers had to go through him to do anything. The same thing is going on in Iraq! They wont turn our Generals loose to get the job done. What happened to our Patton's, our even Schwarzkopf? How long do you think it would have taken China to take care of this war, if it was them in there fighting it? That's why terrorist don't do anything in that country. China turns there army loose and that's it. They take care of business. What really scares me is what will happen when a real war breaks out. We can't take care of a few terrorist now ,whats going to happen when we go up against a real army. Hummmmm. Think about that!

Hmmmmm.... Didn't our Congress vote to send the troops? Hmmmmm.... Don't they have something to do with it? I'm trying to remember some of the members who voted for it, like, hmmm... Hillary Clinton? ring a bell? And is this the 1st war, ever? Who is responsible? Wars happen. It's terrible, but there have been evil people as long as there have been any people. I will NEVER forget watching that 2nd plane crash into the tower or worrying about 2 family members in the Pentagon. Our president and congress REACTED. They did not instigate. You can thank Saddam Hussein and the terrorists for the war. They took it to Iraq. How quickly we forget.

not 100%... but definitely in the 90's...

edit: for those of you who don't understand what the term instigated means:

try this- PREEMPTIVE STRIKE.

(btw- 9/11 had nothing to do with iraq. It has been pointed out time and time again that george LIED about this. that wasn't liberal media either- FOX NEWS and CNN both freely talked about this. There have been MANY occasions where he was asked to show connections between the binladen bunch and iraq- all of which turned out to be garbage.- Seriously- George REALLY DID instigate this war.)

I suspect that Mr. Bush is merely the public face of a collection of "defense contractors" who engineered the war for the purposes of profit. Mr. Bush may actually believe the rather tattered set of assumptions that led him to press for the war. That is a frightening thought, since it must lead inevitably to the conclusion that we have a deluded madman in the White House.

As to those who insist that "9/11" is a justification for the war, the evidence connecting that event to Iraq is tenuous at best.

According to the Geneva Conventions, an invading force is responsible for the physical security of the general population. So he likely bears some legal responsibility.

Ultimately, he is morally responsible, if nothing else.

If he is doing God's work, as he has claimed, then that makes me want nothing whatsoever to do with his God. He attacked the one country within the 'Axis of Evil' that had no nukes, while he coddled the other two (Iraq and North Korea).

This was is a financial and power play -- nothing more.

Funny, I was raised a Christian and the whole time growing up, when I lied I was held responsible for the fall out.
It isn't any different for Bushie. The blood is on his hands.
He lied, whether he did it knowly don't know, and it was his decision to fabricate a story. So it is his problem.
No one can base a truthful decision on a lie.
They can only right the wrong.
