They are dinosaur bones. Belief in creationism does not preclude the fact that dinosaurs roamed the earth. In my opinion, evolution does not make sense. How could something as complex as the human body come from nothing? How did the big bang occur if there is no God? What caused the big bang to occur? How did the "matter" that banged get there? Isn't belief in the big bang theory a bit like believing that a tornado went over a dump and created a 747 airplane? I don't mean to be disrespectful of anyone as I once believed in evolution, but after careful consideration I have decided that God is and that He created the world and all things in it including man (and dinosaurs).

The book of Job describes two dinosaurs, and says that Job himself saw them and even walked with one of them in the fields. Before the flood of Noah, no doubt there where many more, whose bones where burried beneath the tons of silt from the flood.
So considering the modern discovery of dinosaur bones, and the historical record proving that the book of Job had been written before the time of Alexander the Great (who commissioned the Greek translation of the Septuagent), how is it that Job came to write of these two dinosaurs?
Creation suggests that all species where created during the one week. And no new species where created from that time on. We do know that the fosil record shows that there where once many species that no longer exist. We know that the total number of species is declining, whereas the theory of evolution depends on new species evolving from old ones, so that the total number of species should be increasing expotentialy. So mathmatically we can see evolution has no place in science fact.

P.S.: Yes some translations might say hippo or even elephant, but see what it says about his tail, neither a hippo or elephant have a tail such as described in Job. The only thing I can find fitting this description would be a long necked bracheosaur. Can you identify any non dinosaur creature which fits the description given in Job? Do the same over for your crocodile, and let me know what you think it could be other than either a plesiosaur or Icthiosaur.

Dinosaur bones are dinosaur bones from when the dinosaurs died out. Now the question comes into play if they predate Genesis 1 verse two and are a part of original creation.

Thank you for your honesty, and for your honest question.
Job 40:15 mentions the leviathon or behemoth (dinosaur). Job is traditionally known as the oldest written book of the Bible, predating Genesis. This is what I consider about dinosaur bones.
As to the dating of them, it is my understanding that carbon dating is the process whereby the fossils found in the soil are dated by the layer of soil they are found in; and the soil is dated by the fossils found in it. That is subjective to me.
My biggest problem with evolution, apart from the fact that everything is so intrinsic in design and function that I do not see how it could be an accident, is that it doesn't explain emotions -- the "soul" if you will. Does that make any sense?
Again, I appreciate your honesty, and respectful question.

We all know dinosaur bones exist. And that they have been extinct for a long time. that means the earth has been here a long time...Even billions of years.
Genesis in the Bible states that the earth and the universe were created first...then animals...and Man came last.
It is Man that has a comparatively short history on the earth. Not the earth itself.
Genesis ch. 5...Age of the patriarchs.
Matthew ch 1 and Luke ch 3 . Jesus' geneology.

I don't believe in Creationism, I believe in the Creator, and I consider dinosaur bones to be dinosaur bones, as that is what they are,

Hmmm. A loaded question. They aren't bones any more. The fossilization process that has turned them into hardened stone/mineral takes an exceedingly long time, much longer than "young earth" types can imagine.
Edit. Sorry, can't help myself. I'm giggling at the post right above mine. Dinosaurs? Job? hahahaha. Try "hippopotamus" and "crocodile" in those references. hahahahah.

They're the bones of dinosaurs. Just because I believe in creation doesn't mean that I believe that dinosaurs didn't exist. There's even mention of them in the Bible. They just died out early in the planets history (probably before or in the flood).

A lot of Christians believe dinosaurs existed alongside humans. My dad, for one.
However, dinosaur bones are much older than any human bones we've found so.... how do they get around that one?
