It certainly seems to be. We are living in an era of "If it feels good, do it." Morality is often snickered at, where it should be the core of the person you are.
EDIT:: jared, i am not referring to atheists. you can be an atheist and be moral ... morality doesn't only revolve around religion =)

People have always been moral or immoral - sometimes back and forth as individuals. Nations tend to decline over time and them at time have an awakening and turn back.
We are on a roller coaster on this issue.

There are still a few around. Morals can't be legislated. They must be learned. When you take this out of schools, and the parents don't teach the children, this is the result.

Most people are moral. Some are Christians. Some are Jews. Some are atheists....and so on.
What do you base this on?
You have not met everyone in the world. You must be hanging around the wrong people, girlfriend.
GO find some nice people, and ditch that crowd you've been hanging with.

Morals have not died, they have just been shown the backseat by some people.
Helping others is something we do to please our own soul. So we must not care if others are helpful or not.
Secondly, good people receive good rewards. Good rewards need not necessarily mean acknowledgement. it may mean a good and peaceful sleep at night when our soul has absolutely no guilts and our conscience is clean

No, the world is full of moral people. It all depends on what your own concept of morality is.
If your concept of morality is people who abstain from sex, drugs, alcohol and spend all their time praying, then there certainly aren't many moral people about.
If your concept of morality is people who live their own lives and do nothing to harm others (ie, murder, rape, theft, assault, etc.) then there's going to be a lot more moral people in your midst.

Moral people are more quiet than the immoral. You may not notice them, but they are there... minding their own business and staying out of trouble.

That's quite ignorant. There are moral people in the world, religious or not. Immorality and morality has always been.

Depends what your morals are. I'm a moral person. To myself at least. I know lots of moral people. Some of them are gay or have premarital sex, or drink alot. But they are all moral.
