Not true. There are SOME Christians that believe this, but they are in a very small minority. That is just silly.

I know where the idea came from, though. It is actually about 1500 years old or so. Medieval Europe was a male-dominated society that applied concepts indicating that women were sexually weak and depraved. The idea was that by prohibitting them enjoying sex, they would not cheat on their husbands. This was less a religious doctrine, though, than a secular attempt to use religion to control women. The idea was later used by Puritans for the same reason.

Alas, a small few people still believe this. The reason is still the same: it is a weak attempt to control women. It really has nothing to do with Christianity at all.

God may have created us, but believe me religion has nothing to do with a person's sex drive. Sex is built in to help the species to survive. Men usually have a stronger sex drive than women. Girls have to develop a sense of what they want and need sexually as time goes on. It would help U be a better husband and lover if U read books on this subject. There are some good ones out there now, much better than there used to be. If a man is a good lover, he will have a loving wife. Women are slower to be sexually aroused -- that is natural. So a man has to be patient and make his wife feel good first, then he can take of of his needs.

Not true. Sex is a creation of, and a gift from, God. It was meant by Him to be enjoyed.

As another answerer mentioned, check out the Song of Solomon, in the Old Testament.

I have known Christian women, who think sex is for the man only, but they are so wrong. This often depends on the church one goes to. Some churches have a very odd idea about women, but most for one , never try to impose your sex life on you. If you are around good Christians, they don t think such backward things.

No that isn't true... The thing is you're not to have sex until you get married because sex is like a thing you do when your married. It's not for a job or anything like that.

lmao, somebody lied to you hon!

I'm an old married lady and also a Christian woman and I can seriously and honestly state I enjoy sex with my husband as often as possible. I ENJOY it, I love it .... we put the kids to bed and run as fast as we can to the bedroom ... or wherever ;) ... stripping our clothes off as we run so we can have a bit of private fun and not waste a second lol.

Why in the heck would God say "Your desire shall be for your husband" and then say that desire is forbidden? That's silly lol.

Enjoying sex is one of the bonuses of marriage .... guilt-free sex!

WOW are you serious? In the ISKON society that follows The Hindu God Krishna sex is for procreation only this has nothing to do with Jesus's Christianity only thing Bible says is not to abuse sex, not to commit sodomy, and must always be within marriage.
Peace

Not true. Sex is to be enjoyed in marriage.

there is nothing in the bible about not enjoying sex. It says not to enjoy in premarital sex. there is a huge difference. God has no problem with us having sex and enjoying it and doing whatever we please with our partner, but he wants us to do that with a husband.
