1. Believe with all your heart, mind and soul that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for your sins so that you may be saved.
2. Repent. Confess (to God) your sins and the problems you are having with your sin recyclables. Sincerely ask Him to help you with these so that you can follow Him more fully and do His will.
3. Use your free will and try real hard to do as God wants you to do.
4. Read your Bible, God's personal letter to YOU.
5. Pray. Pray. Pray.

You turn your life over to Christ first- he accepts us where we are- then you & he together can work on that cycle of sin- Through prayer & studying the Bible- You can't do it yourself- but "through Christ all things are possible"
We will never be perfect which is why he died for us-it is all about your relationship w/ him - Only God knows your true heart- You just continue to do his will-- everything else will fall into place.

Many will tell you that the Law of God was nailed to the cross, if this is so then there is no such thing as sin because according to the NT "sin is a transgression of the law".
But the Law is written on the Heart now, not in stone. Same law but different place.
Since you asked this question, you must be aware of sin in your life. In this case the law is written on your heart.(you have a conscious awareness).
The remedy? Bible says "what you behold, you become" so read the word of God often, and keep Jesus in the forefront of your mind. Trust him even if you think you are weak, and he will transform you into his likeness.
Remember Paul said "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" This must include not sinning. Those who say you cant live a sinless life are denying the Gospel, and the power of Christ. If the devil can temp you to sin, cant Christ give you strength to overcome sin? If not the devil wins.
But it wont be easy.

You don't stop sinning and give your life to Christ. You first give your life to Christ and he will help you stop your cycle of sinning! When you are truely a Christian, the things you want to do change. And if you do slip up and sin (everyone does), you will be forgiven (which, of course, is not an open invitation to sin JUST BECAUSE you will be forgiven!). Good luck!

No one will ever be able to stop sinning. We are human. We make mistakes.
All we can do is ask God for help to be more like Jesus.
I've given my life to Christ.

If you aren't doing your best, keep trying and remember that only Christ was perfect but through Him all are forgiven. He paid for all sin once and for all. Think about that. How can you possibly avoid your natural inclination. If you could stop, Christ would not have come. God knows, why don't you?

The road to Heaven is narrow and few will find it and fewer yet will stay on it. I take that to mean that I choose what path I take. If I follow Jesus, who goes before me, I put one foot in front of the other; walking a thin line. One that requires balance, discipline, focus, a single mindedness of destination. I believe that if Jesus sacrificed His life for me; what am I willing to sacrifice. The desires of a sinful nature, is my answer. I am not saying that I am perfect but I am being perfected. The Lord knows that my heart is willing, but at times, my flesh is weak. By His Grace, I am saved.
BIBLE= Book of Instruction Before Leaving Earth.
Read it.
It's a book that instructs you on how to find your way home.

We have to get down to the root of our sins. We need to realize how we are falling prey to temptation, and how God can work in our lives so that we do not need sin.
I am in the middle of reading a great book, titled 'Every Young Man's Battle'. It is a no-holds-barred Christian book about how young men can resist sin in today's society. It gives strong spiritual evidence for how God works in our lives and scriptures to help us avoid sin.
I have given my life to Christ, and through all that I say and do, I try to reflect Christ and his teachings. One verse from the Bible really speaks to us and how we need to keep ourselves pure: "May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer." - Psalm 19:14

This question is impossible to answer. Almost everyone I know commits one of the 7 deadlies every day. I think that it is an individual choice, not a collective one. If you want to turn your life over to christ, go ahead. But forget about a global solution.

You have it backwards. If you become a follower of Christ, you'll stop sinning.
