I'm going to the Football (soccer) match between NY Red Bulls and L.A Galaxy on 18th June. This is the 1st day of my holiday, so I'd like to be prepared with some travel info.
it looks about 15 miles, but is it easier / quicker to go by Bus, Rail or Taxi ?
Thanks in advance !

Go to the Port Authority. That is a 5 minute walk west along 42nd street. You can take a cab if the weather is bad. This map is from the port authority's website and may be helpful.

Once you are at the Port Authority look for New Jersey Transit. NJ Transit provides bus service to Giants Stadium for sporting events and concerts. This page from NJ Transit's website should be helpful as it has information for this route plus a map showing where in the port authority the NJ transit terminal is.

By the way the match is August 18. ;)

Go to the Port Authority on 8th Avenue and 41st Street. Then take a bus to the Meadowlands. During games, football and soccer, Port Authority adds more buses.
