as we all know that corruption is opposed by the the public policy. corruption ios a thing which can never be totally eradicated but to some extent it can be prevented. there are many developed countries where corruption is still prevaling but not on a large scale, but it is, now there is nothing we can do to stop corruption even if we try to stop corruption we cannot achieve anything (it like pouring a drop of water in the ocean which really makes no difference) infact as today we also form a part of the corrupted world. lets not get worried about how corruption can be discarded & enjoy our life as we are doing it & let the Officials & genereal body appointed & governed by the government perform their work.

Corruption can only be discarded by imparting proper education of ethics amongst the masses, by imparting proper moral education from childhood. People should be made to understand that making the world more corrupting day by day, can turn our each individual's life into a hell. People should be taught the benefits of living a corruption-free world. The administration, any where, has to be first and foremost corruption-free first, and thereafter should be strict enough to prevent corruption. Merely suspending or imposing a fine, or putting somebody behind the bars cannot simply remove corruption. First the mind of every individual should be purified, then only further steps could be taken in the process of discarding corruption.

The corruption can be minimized by the committment of the citizens. There are always some trying times and see how you maintain your balance - see the folowing example
You are an educated man waiting for treatment of one of your family member at a public institution. There is a big line up. Your patient's situation is worsening and you feel like if you could jump the queue and move ahead. The officials at the place appear to be very strict and like to treat people on a first come first served basis or in another instance based on the emergency situation ( which only they evaluate and priortize). What would you do ? It's easy to make slogans but can you carry them through.
Eliminate human interaction as much as possible and do everything possible to create the efficieny of each and every system - be receptive to honest public inputs to make improvements.

How can we stop adultry, lying, stealing, of most of the other things that have plagued civilization for as long as we've had one. The answer is, it can't be stopped. However, if the government is limited and tax dollars are not passed out for everything under the sun the impact of the corruption could be minimized. The more powerful the government becomes the more it will be ruled by corruption. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Limit the power of government.

If you are from the sub continent of India I am very sorry to tell you there is no way in the next 50 years will it disappear. It is deeply internalised in our system and India will not be able to move forward if corruption was eradicated. Corrupt politicians which roughly consist of 100% of all politicians are the scum of the earth and the only way to deal with them is frankly line them up and shoot them!
On a more serious note not that I wasn't being serious on the opening paragraph, a way to discard corruption is to raise the salary of government employees. They are paid a pittance and yet hold so much power to make life miserable for you. Sadly ours is a very evil country and we simply have to learn to live with it.

By Citizens, we water the plant of corruption and allow it to grown into a huge tree which provides shelter to all that is evil. Stop the practice of " giving in" into corruption. And like any other plant without water it too will die, though slowly.

mainly by citizens.....
there are two required steps for it:
1: Everyone should make themselves strong enough not to take any out of the way advantage. Not to offer any favor monetary or otherwise to someone to get something done which would not be deemed legally/ morally correct.
To me, people offering bribes are the biggest culprits though you cannot acquit ones accepting/demanding bribes or the ones acceding to such demands.
2: Remove the root cause of corruption. Let every officer have enough remuneration for the worth of his work. Create a reliable social security system so that everybody has a basic minimum. (Corruption due to greed of money)
Moreover respect the ones who work honestly & do not forget to acknowledge the ones who do their work properly. The tendency of not counting anyone who does not harm you/does not slow down your work also promotes corruption. (Corruption due to greed of power/recognition)

Corruption is inherent in all humans irrespective of race color religion etc. It justs manifests differently in terms of quality and quantity based on the person's needs and the social environment. It stems from greed, ambition etc., very important components of our survival instinct and the basis of evolution of civilization! The day the socio-economic conditions in India or other developing country become similar to the Scandinavian nations or Canada, these countries too will achieve a similar level of minimal corruption in public life. But nothing can rid us of corruption in our personal lives.
