Yes dear, it's not only a sin but it defies the whole purpose of religions that believe in a God/Gods because...
**cognitive relativism (truth) - Cognitive relativism affirms that all truth is relative. This would mean that no system of truth is more valid than another one and that there is no objective standard of truth. It would, naturally, deny that there is a God of absolute truth.
**moral/ethical relativism - all morals are relative to the social group within which they are constructed.
**situational relativism - that ethics (right and wrong) are dependent upon the situation.
Basically it's saying that all social norms, rules and truths are ruled by society while Islam and other religions believe these things are under the rule of God. So yes, it is a sin to believe this.

It can be largely true; at the same time largely untrue depending upon where the theory is observed and on whom.
Islam was there since Adam and Eve (peace be upon them).
But satanic culture and history distracted people of Islam every ages from the fundamental Truth,
'He is Allah, the One and Only;
Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
And there is none like unto Him.'
But then prophets of Islam, with the help of Creator's word, also managed to retrain people and save them from the satanic culture and history.
People are trainable.
Therefore relativism can be a part of knowledge in Islam.

I believe there is no such concept. Islam is not depended on experience or any other culture. Islam will not admit there dependence on some other aspect or element.

relativism goes against all religions that have a concept of the reality of good and evil.
Relativism is not a sin. It's a philosophy. If you think about it, it goes against all morality, law and ethics - secular or religious.

Are you talking about moral relativism? If so, it has no place in any God based religion, by definition.
Moral absolutism=God decides what is right & what is wrong.
Moral relativism=There is no God. Morality means whatever man wants it to mean. There are no absolutes. Man is God.

Islam forbids only real rightists and false leftists. this is all. the last word is not said in any 'ism'. the term sin is not islamic. it is made by catholic church. there is no concept of inherited sin (source of sin).
