I mean that if we get what we send out, is it not possible for us to recieve that back to the point that we will ponder on the wrongs and try to redo them?

If we fail to try to make amends so to speak, what do you think the results will be.

Yes, I have my thoughts and beliefs on this, but am wondering what you all think, Thanks in advance.

I think it's a mistake to assign some sort of motivation or personality to the system of reaction and feedback...the system itself is no more motivated by feelings or desired ends than gravity is. **

That said, we do tend to language this in human motivational terms, and to experience it in those terms, too.

When you let go of something, it falls. If it also breaks, and you are upset by that, you'll learn (hopefully) not to let go of things that you don't INTEND to fall (with the possibility of breaking).

If you do harm, there *will* be consequences to that. The consequences will vary depending on a lot of things. It may be that a friendship is lost. It may be that a grudge is developed. It may be that one's self-image is damaged. And so on.

Repeating harmful behavior will result in continuing consequences. These consequences may, indeed, become more dramatic as the actions are repeated. Stepping on someone's foot once may get an "ouch!" and an angry look....stepping on someone's foot a dozen times may get you knocked to the floor.

The appropriate response is to recognize oneself as the source of those consequences, and to deal appropriately (maturely) with them. First, by acknowledging that this is what you've created. Second, by changing your actions...or by choosing to live with the consequences without complaint.

** I choose to view this impartial system of reaction and feedback as a loving gift. It allows me to act as a reasoning being rather than as a child whose Parent is going to punish me if I do "wrong" or reward me if I do "right" (comply with the Parent's wishes).

I wonder if you may be dipping a bit too much into a reward and punishment model. The level at which you meet what comes to you is the thing. If your level is rising, the things that come to you below that level will not drag you down. You can deal with them. If your level is not rising, you meet the things head on and have to deal with them. The point is to grow, and that should be the focus. I think making amends for past wrongs is fine, but only doing this is not sufficient. Certainly "trying" to make amends is not sufficient.

Yep, I've seen it happen and I try to achieve good karma every day. If you're paying attention, you'll know karma. You can change your karma by compassion. We are to respect all life. And remain awake.

a) Karma comes from the Dharmic religions.
b) They mainly believe that karma does not have to be "redeemed" in this lifetime, i.e. what you do in this life might affect a reincarnation way down the road and vice versa
c) it's nonsense.
