"Eloi" was used by Jesus. It means "my/our god". In this sense, god is a noun, NOT a name. Allah means "the god", which implies singularity. That's fine, but Jesus never said "Allah". The words SOUND SIMILAR, but do not symbolize the same meaning.

Find the word "Allah" in Hebrew or Greek and you will have accomplished what NO OTHER PERSON has done. Use your head.

well first of all since we don't generally speak aramaic no. Next, I have a question, what would it make a difference if I called jesus allah. Lets say I agree that christianity and islam really serve the same god doesn't prove one is correct over the other. A name is sometimes just a name. And by the way the jews had aramaic first.

Allah does mean God and many Christians of eastern descent use Allah to represent the name of God. I think that in western cultures that using Allah as the name of God can be confusing although there is nothing wrong with it. Edit to add: The God of Christianity and Islam are not the same however.

Muslims use Allah because it means he is one, has no partners, and never will. And he isn't seperated into three parts. Which is what christians believe.

Well, sounds like you have already made up your mind, but I know in my heart that God is ok with me calling him Jehova or Heavenly Father or Lord and God.

It's just a myth, so names don't matter. Why obsess over such things. People with religion always have to feel superior and right about things that don't matter.
