i'm 17 years old and all my life guys been treating me as a sister to them, and it's hard for me to get serious and find a bf.
I don't think that the problem is me being immature cause all my friends tell me i'm to mature for my age. So can anyone help me out here, give me some tips to show them i'm not a "sister",or if anyone has the same problem what did you do?

I reckon be yourself. 17 is still pretty young, and it would be better to let the guys fall for you for who you are, not change yourself to attract them. Maybe if you are mature, it might take a few years for guys to catch up a bit and more of them will take notice of you then. Good luck.

Well, I have a similar problem, only "Brother". I'm 17. And I am told I'm one of the most mature out of my friends too. I think it's just that I am a really stable person that just comes off as brotherly or friendly. Sometimes less maturity is appealing at first because of the fun that they know can be had with you. But I don't really know the correct balance of either, considering I still have the same thing going on...

So I guess guys respect you, you must be a very interresting young woman, it is better this way than being seen as an easy lady....when you really like someone be caring but a little bit naugthy with them so they don't see you as a friend or sister too much, stay in control you are doing the right thing

I've had two girlfriends like this. Always complained that all their male friends just saw them as one of the guys.

Both are now married with children.

You will find that guy who sees you as a woman - just need to venture outside of your circle of friends and give it time. You're only 17.

Well guys obviously like you and respect you - so you've got a good chance of finding someone special, not someone who will use you. You might need to dress a little more grown up (not slutty), talk about things they like to talk to, etc. But you'll get there and I'm sure you will find a wonderful bf

I think it's not that much bad to be considered by some body as sister. Just think every one is seeking you as his love would you just like situation? I guess your physical appearance is not in tune with your age. Wait some more time surely your turn will come.
