The turtle was laying on it's back, dead, and covered with blood. It was weird because there were no wounds on the turtle. Can anyone help me understand this dream?

According to Dreamcrowd:

These animals hold interesting symbolism. Most people loved turtles in childhood and some do in adulthood. The ideas that they convey are those of steadfastness and caution. They move and change very slowly, and in your dream about them, you may be expressing some of your reluctance to forge ahead. The turtles have strong protective shells, which may also be symbolic of your defense mechanisms or real life protection with which you have surrounded yourself.

To dream of abnormal things, indicates that you will soon come to a sound solution to problems that you have been preoccupied with in your mind. Anything appearing abnormal draws attention to that particular aspect. Something in your life may not be consistent with how you feel things should be.

To dream that you are saying no, suggests that you are standing up for your what believe even though you are going against the majority. You are putting yourself first and making decisions for yourself, not to please others.

The turtle signifies something in your unconscious that tries to creep out slowly and make itself known, possibly your hidden self. It may also indicate that you are sheltering yourself from life's realities.

The image that it is laying on its back generally means that this particular behavior that is nestled deep n your unconscious is passive.

That it is dead signifies something important that you lack, and this might be the very reason why you are trying to uncover something inside you.

Being covered with blood symbolizes cleansing, as well as passions and past disappointments.

THere is a possibility that you are an introvert, trying to cover up everything and not wanting to share your life to others. This is why you are currently experiencing some depression or despair. Open up and see the world around you. They are not meant t hurt you, but to help you enjoy life and have friends whom you can share your feelings with.

To see turtles in your dream, suggests that you will make slow but steady progress. You need to slow down and pace yourself. Alternatively, it indicates that you are sheltering yourself from the realities of life.
So maybe someone you know is fed up of your hiding from life's realities or you yourself are and its time for a change and so the dead image of the turtle to signify a change towards facing upto life's challenges.
Do let me know if I am wrong!

Turtles are signs of good luck. One being dead in your dream might mean something else though. What did you do?
If you helped it, then that means prosperity is on the way.
It really depends on what you did in the dream.
Wish I could help out more but theres not much to go on.

Use their awesome dream dictionary. I know turtles are a symbol of protection, but probably not so much turned on its back dead and blood covered. Feeling vulnerable lately?

Peace.

It means that you would hate for something bad to happen to the turtle. The mysterious wounds signal that no harm has come to him so far.

I'll call Quincy and he'll be there in a flash, but you have to be asleep for the investigation to continue.
