You know as you get older you'll find that girls quite like shy guys. A bit of a challenge, they aren't arrogant or full of themselves. And it makes a girl feel good to go over and make the first move!
BUT...not so if you're a teenager. Girls seem to crave the confident guys. As someone said above finding out what you like about yourself is a huge step. If you're a computer geek, be proud. Wear some good clothes (they don't have to be expensive, but try to look like you've put in a bit of effort). Do your hair, take pride in yourself. And one of the biggest tips for confidence is try to think beforehand "I really don't care how this goes. Too bad if she doesn't like me, her loss". If you're desperately looking for someone, it's a turn off. But if you seem like you really don't care - well, the reverse psychology works!

Here's a tip.
DON'T BE A WIMP!
Girls are like dogs(not in a negative way ladies, so stand down) they can sense your fear.
Whose dating the lead cheer leader? Yeah... not a wimp.
First off, things not to talk about while in the presense of the ladies.
Video games, you have no idea what they are.
Your 100GB porn collection, thats creepy but I have one too.
Your favorite trading card game, unless its poker.
What super power you always wanted, yeah...
SCIFI may be cool to you... but she doesnt care about where they got ALL that metal to make the Deathstar.
This may sound like it won't work but read a star mag.
Know about celebs and ****, a lot of chicks seem to follow this gossip.
Again don't be a wimp.
Being in shape helps you out. If your sporting a six pack, your doing good.
Being hung like Mr. Ed.
Avoid things above.
Don't be a wimp, dont say wimpy things, dont talk with a wimpy tone. Go out of your way to conquer your wimpy fears and talk to the ladies, if they like you they will even appreciate the attention, ladies like attention, you can't go wrong.
Dont be afraid of rejection, while learning to ride a horse you'll fall off a few times, but get back on it until your at the rodeo, same concept applies.
Most important of all, under no circumstances should you EVER EVER EVER... act like wimp.

Learn to love who you are and love the things about yourself and that confidence will flood over into other aspects of your life including romance. Figure out what your favorite parts of who you are as a person and your outward appearance are and accentuate them and you will feel as if you are more desireable, and what most women want(women, not girls) are confident men. However some women do like the shy mousy guys and if that's who you are by all means roll with it and use that to your advantage.

Sure, I learned that if you talk to just about anyone that's a stranger: Older women, older guys, mothers and guys around your age throughout the day talking up women you would enjoy meeting become easier and easier. It worked fine for me.

how old r u ?be confidant in ur self.dress well .be happy.if u get nervous for these things there r lots of other things to face.first of all start loving ur self thats ur great strength. all the best.

talk to more girls. tell a joke or something. talk about something you might have some insight or are passionate about.
