If you mean 12 inch LP vinyl Records that were supposed to be made redundant when CD launched into our lives, YES !!!
I never thought of them as 200 gram records before. You learn something everyday. I listen to records all the time even though i have a substantial collection of CD's.There is no comparison when it comes to musical quality, vinyl wins hands down. This is another reason why digital is not always better.I have been able to buy records on eBay that i thought i would never see again. And some of them are brand new.Never been played. And the ones that have been used are in good condition. And i found out a good way to thoroughly clean them so they will give their best performance.
A couple of years ago i bought a new Turntable which was hand made in Austria.for about $890.And i am now enjoyning my records all over again.

Years ago putting together your own turntable, tonearm and pickup cartridge was a hobby among audiophiles.Mixing and matching various components to get the best sound possible was part of the enjoyment of record players. But when CD Players came along that enjoyment stopped because all you did was push a button put the disc in push a button and that was it.
Sorry if i rambled on a bit but i am very passionable when it comes to vinyl records.

Nothing beats a true analog recording IMO.

"some sound may be lost from the original source tapes on this Cd" it says that on most every CD that was and original Analog recording.

LPs sound better than CDs. 200g, 180g, 150g - they all do. And these days you can get a decent turntable set-up for under $500
