Leviticus 22: 1-8
'If a descendant of Aaron has an infectious skin disease or a bodily discharge, he may not eat the sacred offerings until he is cleansed. He will also be unclean if he touches something defiled by a corpse or by anyone who has an emission of semen, or if he touches any crawling thing that makes him unclean, or any person who makes him unclean, whatever the uncleanness may be. The one who touches any such thing will be unclean till evening. He must not eat any of the sacred offerings unless he has bathed himself with water. When the sun goes down, he will be clean, and after that he may eat the sacred offerings, for they are his food. He must not eat anything found dead or torn by wild animals, and so become unclean through it. I am the LORD."

And don't even get me started on Leviticus 15!

"An organized desk [Earth] is the sign of a diseased mind."

That would explain why he's insane most of the time.

When slacker Jesus took over the secretary work in the New Testament, things got a little better. But once Mary died, she got the job because, as we all know, she and God are lovers. This explains the return to insanity in Revelation.

Have to wonder how much work they get done in the same office, though... especially since he's the boss.

Y'know, I don't quite understand why those laws were/are, but I do know that God is a God of order and cleanliness. I know that the Bible is the word of God as far as it is translated correctly, and that the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ was translated by a man by the power of God. It is also the word of God. I know that those two books speak and testify of eachother. I cannot recall many things to convince, but this knowledge is true.

How exactly would you explain "a sterile field" and sanitation principles to a million camping slaves? If you promised to protect them from disease and heal them ( Exodus 15:26, and Psalms 103:3), how would you go about it? There is quite a difference between the real, practical God of the Bible and the mumbo jumbo of today's popular "religion," and you have pinpointed it exactly.

Well considering how God is holy and sacred and...God. He has standards that his servants should(ve) upheld. The verse you cited is part of the old covenant which doesnt apply to God's people anymore but at that time He required his servants and priests to uphold a degree of cleanliness. This also has health benefits to it as well.
