You can always claim the dog crapped in the bed or even go as far as to actually set the dog up. If that doesn't work be vengeful and shave the dogs fur... that will show him ;)

Lol wtf? You should dump him! I love all animals, but I would never let someone that I care about sleep on the floor so my pet could sleep with me. If you decide to stay with him, just tell him how you feel, but make sure he knows you're serious, so he doesn't just blow you off. If he doesn't want to kick the dog off the bed, just ask him to see if you can try to sleep on the bed with him and the dog. The dog shouldn't take up the whole bed unless he's a great dane of something, and the dog shouldn't come before you anyways. Ask him to get a doggy bed, and if he puts it in his room, it shouldn't take long to train the dog to sleep on it when it's time for bed. If he doesn't even consider the doggy bed idea, then maybe him and his dog are just a little too close, lol, and there's probably not much room for you in the relationship. Good luck :)

Leave, it's as simple as that.
I love pets but they have their place. Any man that makes you sleep on the floor in favor of a dog doesn't deserve you. Go find a guy who respects you.
His actions are 100 percent disrespectful. If I were in your position I would have left the first time that he did that. Who's to say if you have children one day that he would favor the dog over him. It seems he already favors the dog over you.
You don't deserve disrespect like that so please don't stand for it.
If you absolutely have to talk to him about it then just come out and say what is on your mind. If he doesn't listen or waves it off don't give him an ultimatum, just pack up your things and leave.

Just get on the bed with them. Or even better, sleep on the bed with the dog and make your BF sleep on the floor.

NOOO Be his second class pet for the rest of your life.
You have to be kidding, Where has all the work for human rights gone?
Am I hurting your feelings, I hope so.
LOOK AT YOUR QUESTION? You should have NEVER slept on the floor once.
As for CONFRONTING him, Don't let the door hit you in the back side on the way out.
GET AWAY NOW, IT WILL NEVER GET BETTER.

Show him the door. I love animals alot but I think that by your b/f prefering to have his dog in bed instead of you is a terrible insult to you. Why couldn't he let you sleep there too ? Our poodle sleeps between my husband + I lol. I think you need to find yourself a better man thats deserving of you. : )
Your b/f is seeing how far he can push you. If you let him get away with this + stay with him, you are allowing him to do it. You are entitled to equality in this relationship, I think he possibly disrespects woman or has a control issue.
Good luck : )

Letting the dog to sleep on bed is the last thing you wanna do, and dump your BF is the first thing you should.

Find a new boyfriend.....
Pets are wonderful, but they must have their place and this could cause a very serious situation.
In any pack there are ranks and your BF has put you in omega position and the dog is ranked above you and this could lead to the dog biting you.
I love and spoil my dogs, but as I said before they have their place and my husband and mate out rank my pets. So ask yourself, "Should I out rank a pet?"
Good luck and you should have someone that cares more about you.

just let him know gently what ur opinion on his bedmate choice is. tell him that you're his girlfriend, not his dog. if he doesnt really like your opinion on this..then make a compromise. maybe you and his dog can sleep on the bed with him. if he isnt willing to work out a suitable sleeping arrangement that satisfies you, then give him the consequence of not sleeping there...unless you live with him then buy a dogbed and suggest his dog sleep there..?
